This has got to be one of my favorite Glenn Beck clips of all time – Glenn Beck’s on air scuffle with an ACORN spokesperson. During a commercial break, the spokesperson said “You hate black people,” among other things and stormed out.

Among my other favorite GB clips is his confrontation with Richard Blumenthal in which he completely humiliates the Connecticut state attorney by forcing him to admit the case against AIG executives irrelevant to any law.

This next video is a jewel. Ignore the “Young Turk” chump at the beginning of the video. Beck’s ventilation on the hackneyed ’all-rich-people-are-iniquitous-beastly-devils’ attitude is brilliant and entertaining.

Some people view Glenn Beck as a spirited defender of the rich. Well, yeah. He is. One of the results of a free market (a bi-product of freedom itself) is rich people. Capitalism makes people rich. This is certain. Only the people who covet those riches or lack the will and determination to obtain riches for themselves loathe a capitalistic society.

What’s particularly funny about this clip is that during Beck’s monologue, he goes on about how he never actually had the opportunity of pursuing a college education (despite all his obvious career success), and makes the explicit prediction (with much funny gesturing I might add), that the liberals will soon be all over that little fact. He was right. In the video, “The Young Turk” (who is by the way an outcasted Huffington Post writer) goes on to mock Beck for his lack of a college education. It so well represents the snobby-liberal-academic-elitist mentality, which has the utmost contempt for the bourgeoisie underlings whom they deem ‘uneducated’ for being anything less than ivy league bohemians or effusive believers in the theory of evolution.
