I have been meaning to write something about Islam for quite some time now. I was first prompted to do so after seeing the infamous Fitna video, which I will discuss further down. I will point out that I am no expert on Islam, but as it is with Christianity, you do not need to be an expert to understand the basics of a faith.
When it comes to examining other faiths, I want to make sure that I do not make the same mistakes I accuse other people of making when they study Christianity. One major mistake people make with Christianity, is simply taking things out of context.
For example, the verse “Judge not, that you be not judged” has become a common staple for arguments that attempt to disfigure the idea of passing judgment from one person to the other, or a judgment made of another person’s idea. But if you examine Mathew chapter 7 (the context of the verse), you will find that the chapter talks about judging out of hypocrisy, not judging altogether. Read on from verse 2:
For with what judgment you judge, you will be judged; and with the measure you use, it will be measured back to you. And why do you look at the speck in your brother’s eye, but do not consider the plank in your own eye? Or how can you say to your brother, ‘Let me remove the speck from your eye’; and look, a plank is in your own eye? Hypocrite! First remove the plank from your own eye, and then you will see clearly to remove the speck from your brother’s eye.
The mistook idea of not making judgments altogether is very silly; we make judgments all the time! From the kind of clothes we wear to the food we eat; for the friends we make, for the jobs we take, and all the things we grow to hate! A judgment is made when a parent chooses not to allow a registered sex offender babysit his child. Can you say that the parent is making a judgment against the registered sex offender? Yes!
I can truly say, with confidence, that I have not quoted below any of the verses from the Qur’an or Hadith without first looking into the context.
In a nutshell, Islam is a works based, monotheistic (belief in one god) religion that originated through the teaching of the prophets of Allah. The prophets of Allah include Noah, Abraham, Moses, Jesus and finally Muhammad—who revealed the final and most pertinent revelation to mankind from Allah. All of the prophets had indirect contact with Allah through ministering angels, which are intangible creatures of light created to serve Allah. The word ‘Islam’ means “submission” in Arabic or “complete surrender to Allah.”
By ‘works based’, I mean that people of the Islamic faith hope to get to heaven by doing good deeds. Heaven is described in the Qur’an as an eternal paradise full of wealth, beauty and pleasures only for those faithful to Allah. “For them will be Gardens of eternity; beneath them rivers will flow; they will be adorned therein with bracelets of gold, and they will wear green garments of fine silk and heavy brocade. They will recline therein on raised thrones. How good [is] the recompense! How beautiful a couch [is there] to recline on!” (Surah 18:31). Heaven is ultimately an incentive or ultimate reward for people to strive to obey Allah and his prophets.
**Note – The word “Surah,” refers to the different segments of the Qur’an. Think of “Surahs” as chapters in a book.
An important thing to realize about Islam is that It is not just a religion, but also a form of government. Islamic states (like Iran and Saudi Arabia) have political systems that are based on the Qur’an, and these political systems are centered around three basic principles.
The first of which, is called Tawhid, which means “the unity of Allah.” It provides that Allah is sovereign over the land and that he is at the head of the government. Everything that the government does is in accordance with Allah; all worship, giving thanks and obedience is directed towards him. The second principle is called Risala, which means “messenger.” This affirms the basic tenet of Islam that God speaks to humans through angels, which reveal things to Allah’s chosen prophets. The Qur’an says that Muhammad was Allah’s last and final prophet, and Jesus Christ was his predecessor. The third principle is called Khilafat, which means “representation.” Men who govern Islamic Providences are direct appointed representatives of Allah. This concept applies to all men being representatives of Allah on earth, and they are Allah’s vicegerents who exercise his divine will and authority.
Nations of Islam (referring to the 7 Countries that declare themselves actual ‘Islamic states’) are theocracies. Faith and government are inseparable, and the Qur’an leaves no room for insubordination. The idea of the Islamic penal system is to protect society from crimes, and is very effective by means of creating inner deterrence through external supervision.
“There is (preservation of) life for you in retribution, O people of understanding, that you may become pious.” Surah 2:179
Because Islam is primarily a works-based religion, it is no surprise that the majority of law is derived from Islamic scriptures. The punishment for thievery for example is taken from Surah 5:38, “The thieves, male and female, cut off their hands as a recompense for what they have earned…” The punishment for adultery is taken from Surah 24:2 “As for the adulteress and the adulterer, flog each of them with a hundred stripes, and let not compassion for them keep you from (carrying out) this law of God.” And, although not explicit in the Qur’an, the punishment for apostasy–leaving the Islamic faith–is execution according to the Hadith (“sayings of the prophet”), and the four major Sunni schools.
Pretty typical religion huh? Follow a bunch of rules and you will get to heaven … well here is where it gets ugly.
Surah 8:12 “…make firm those who believe. I will cast terror into the hearts of those who disbelieve. Therefore strike off their heads and strike off every fingertip of them.”
Surah 5:33 “The punishment of those who wage war against Allah and His apostle and strive to make mischief in the land is only this, that they should be murdered or crucified or their hands and their feet should be cut off on opposite sides or they should be imprisoned.”
Surah 8:39 “…fight with them [the unbelievers] until there is no more persecution and religion should be only for Allah…”
Surah 8:65 “O Prophet! urge the believers to war; if there are twenty patient ones of you they shall overcome two hundred, and if there are a hundred of you they shall overcome a thousand of those who disbelieve, because they are a people who do not understand.”
Surah 9:5 “…slay the idolaters wherever you find them…take them captives and besiege them and lie in wait for them in every ambush…”
Surah 9:12-14 “…fight the leaders of unbelief…[9:13] What! will you not fight a people…[9:14] Fight them, Allah will punish them by your hands and bring them to disgrace, and assist you against them and heal the hearts of a believing people.”
Surah 9:29 “Fight those who do not believe in Allah…nor follow the religion of truth, out of those who have been given the Book, until they pay the tax in acknowledgment of superiority and they are in a state of subjection.”
Surah 9:38 “…Go forth in Allah’s way [to Jihad]… [9:39] If you do not go forth [to go on Jihad], He will chastise you with a painful chastisement and bring in your place a people other than you [to go on Jihad]…”
Surah 22:58 “those who leave their homes for the cause of Allah, and are then slain or die, Allah will surely provide for them a goodly provision…”
That’s not all. There are over 164 verses in the Qur’an alone (not to mention an entire chapter in the Hadith) that promotes ‘jihad’, the Arab word which means ‘to struggle in the way of Allah’, through war and persecution of the unbelievers. I am convinced that these verses are in no way past revelations, and the majority (if not all) of the Muslims believe that the Qur’an and the Hadith are prescriptive text; applying to the past, present and future.
“Everything is prescriptive, not descriptive like the bible in their culture they live the same way they did when Muhammad was alive in the 7th century; jihad was then, jihad is now.” Ergun Caner, a Muslim who converted to Christianity, said on the John Ankerberg show in 2003.
I believe a very liberal interpretation of these texts has been taken by mainstream Islam. Yes, there is the idea that Allah is merciful throughout the Qur’an, but it only applies to those who practice Islam.
Surah 8:59-60 “Let not the unbelievers think that they have won the game; surely they can never frustrate the believers. Muster against them all the military strength and cavalry that you can afford so that you may strike terror into the hearts of your enemy and the enemy of Allah, and others besides them who are unknown to you but known to Allah. Remember that whatever you will spend in the cause of Allah, shall be paid back to you in full and you shall not be treated unjustly.”
I have found verses in the Qur’an that speak of peace. It says in Surah 8:61, “If the enemy is inclined towards peace, do make peace with them, and put your trust in Allah. He is the One who hears all, knows all.” But these verses (however few there are) are in direct contradiction with many other verses which declare unconditional, merciless jihad against the unbelievers.
The whole idea of Islam is to spread Allah’s holy revelation through military conquest. The world saw the true front of Islam in the seventh century, when Muhammad led Muslims to conquer all of the Middle-East and Southern Europe. During this time, entire populations were deported into slavery, and the Muslim advance did not halt until the battle of Poitiers in France, 732 A.D. No other religion in the world has promoted so much violence directed to those ‘outside the faith’.
“Islam is the only religion in the world that has a developed doctrine of theology, in law, that mandates violence against non-believers.” Michael Spencer said, who is the director of jihadwatch.org.
Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad said in a press conference that Islam would “rule every mountain top of the world.” This is the same man that declared Israel as the “banner of Satan,” and that all it does is “implement the criminal orders of American and England.” His campaign slogan (if you could call it a campaign) was practically ‘death to Israel!’ A phrase that he often uses at the close of his speeches, after which, the people end up chanting ‘death to Israel!’ back.
Keep in mind, we are talking about a president of an entire country here. Now imagine George Bush or President Obama yelling ‘death to Al Quida!’ at the end of his speeches. Seems a little out of place …
President Ahmadinejad was invited to speak at Columbia University in New York City in 2007. Thankfully, much to Ahmadinejad’s surprise, University President Lee Bollinger introduced him by expressing to the students the war criminal he really was. In his speech he even pleaded for the release of a colleague, who was being held captive in Iran.
But on the subject of Israel, let’s examine some realities.
Fact: Palestinians believe that the land of Israel was forcefully taken from them from Zionist militants.
Excerpt from a Palestinian text book on Arabic language, analysis, literature and criticism, grade 12:
“Palestine’s [1948] war ended with a catastrophe that is unprecedented in history, when the Zionist gangs stole Palestine and expelled its people from the cities, their villages, their lands and their houses, established the state of Israel”
Fact: There was no Arab state or nation called “Palestine” in the Middle East in 1948. Or Ever. The Middle East was ruled by Turks under the Ottoman Empire for 400 years. The countries that exist in that region today were divided up by the European powers after World War I.
Fact: The Jews have lived in the area known as Palestine for over 3,000 years. They have a claim to it just as much as the Arabs do. They have always held the majority of the population in Jerusalem.
Fact: The Jews are the most oppressed group of people on the face of the planet. Hitler almost succeeded in wiping them out by killing six million of them during the Holocaust.
Fact: During the Second World War, the Muslims supported Hitler. A picture was taken of Hitler with his ally, Hajj Amin al-Husseini, the Grand Mufti of Jerusalem. Radical Muslims continue to revere Hitler to this day.
Fact: Many of the Jews that were killed in the holocaust could have escaped to other surrounding countries … if other countries had allowed them refuge.
Fact: The British promised to make a part of the area of land known as the Palestinian Mandate (a large piece of land that stretched from the Mediterranean and past the Jordan) a Jewish state, so that the Jews could have a refuge in this world. They gave 80% of it (the chunk to the east of the river Jordan) to the Arabs. The other more valuable 20% of land, from the river Jordan to the Med, they sliced into pieces. They gave the Jews the 3 slices that were the most arid and desertified (UN Sponsored Israel on the map below).
Fact: On the day Israel was created, the armies of 5 Arab States–Jordan, Syria, Egypt, Lebanon, and Iraq–invaded Jewish Israel. They were pushed back.
Fact: In the sixty years that followed, the Arabs waged a continuous war to destroy the Jewish state and finish the job they had started. Arabs justify their war by believing that Israel stole their land and then occupied it.
Fact: The Jews took the land and made it prosper. From 1985 to 2007, the GDP of Israel has multiplied over 20 times. The land they occupy looks nothing like the land it once was. The Arabs could have done the same, but instead the billions of dollars they received for economic development went into their leaders’ Swiss bank accounts and for funding ethnic hatred and terrorism. The Gaza strip and the West Bank (the two portions of land in Palestine from the east of the river Jordan), are no where near as prosperous as the land of Israel.
Fact: Arabs who live in Israel enjoy full citizenship and rights, equivalent to those of a Jewish citizen.
Fact: Jews in Arab states are considered ‘persona nan grata’, and are given no rights. A Jew in most Arab nations is a dead Jew.
Fact: Among Palestinians, the Hamas is the ruling authority and one of its primary purposes is to “liberate Palestine from the Jordan to the sea.” They call for the “liquidation of the Zionist presence,” and the “destruction of Israel.”
“Israel will exist and will continue to exist until Islam will obliterate it, just as it obliterated others before it.”
- Hamas
Fact: In 2005, Israel withdrew its military forces from Gaza, which they had occupied to prevent terrorist attacks. The day after, Hamas began launching rocket attacks at schools and towns inside Israel.
Fact: In 2000, Israel withdrew forces from Lebanon, which was occupied because of Arab rocket attacks on Israeli schools and towns. Hezbollah and Hamas responded by launching attacks against Israel using rockets made in Iran.
Fact: The goal of the Arabs is not to create a nation for the Palestinians or to rescue Arab refugees in Israel.
Fact: The goal of the Arabs is the complete and utter destruction of the Jews.
Radical Arabs do not keep this a secret.
“The Jews are a cancer which is liable again to spread at any moment.”
“There is no solution to the conflict except with the disappearance of Israel.”
“If they all gather in Israel, it will save us the trouble of going after them worldwide.”
- Hassan Nasrallah, leader of Hezbollah

Having knowledge of these facts, how can the civilized world stand by and allow this deep-seated, blind immoral hate and racism to continue? When people speak about withdrawing American aid to Israel they speak out of ignorance. Israel is the one thing that stands in between these war mongers and the rest of the free world. And they are war mongers. Regardless of however many different interpretations of their holy books they take (and there are many), their own actions condemn them, and thereby condemn the validity of their faith. What are the “peace loving Muslims” doing to stop this insanity? Has there been any great outcry from the Muslim community? None! And if there has been — it surely has not done anything. Why does Israel constantly have to charge in with guns to Gaza, the West Bank and surrounding countries to stop rocket firing on Israel school houses and towns?
The Muslim faith is very intricate, and realizing these things require the examiner to look deeper into the teachings of the Qur’an and the Hadith. It is very easy to candy-coat lies so that they look like truths, make them digestible, and feed them to the masses. We know this because of historical figures of the past who have succeeded in doing this.
Hitler comes to mind.

At the top and middle are pictures of Hezbollah and Hamas followers. Doesn't anyone see the similarity here?
The idea that Muhammad was a holy, righteous man is an example of these ‘candy-coated lies’. Muhammad, by today’s standards, was a pedophile. He married a 9-year-old girl, had sex with her, and then basically said it was ‘god’s idea’. Today, Islamic law allows men (at any age) to marry women from the age of 9 and up. And it happens very often.
If you are a women, and you are reading this, I encourage you to watch this short clip. It is very graphic, but it well explains the violent oppression of women in Islam, which is a reality that needs to be understood by the western world.
Aside from sexual immorality, Muhammad was a violent, cruel man who established himself forcefully by embraced the very idea of intolerance.
“The Prophet cut off the hands and feet of the men belonging to the tribe of Uraina and did not cauterize (their bleeding limbs) till they died.” Hadith 795.
I have no doubt that Muhammad received his revelations from demons, whom are fallen angels. What does that makes Islamic texts? Demonic doctrines of course! Yes, there is the illusion of establishing peace and tranquility through submission to Allah. There is the illusion that Allah is somehow this peace loving and caring god. The Qur’an constantly reminds the reader of this fact by stating the phrase “Allah is Forgiving, Merciful,” 38 times throughout the book – I counted. The phrase usually appears at the end of each segment or Surah, and many times, holds a direct contradiction to the content of the segment or Surah. Why does the reader constantly need to be reminded that Allah is forgiving and merciful? hmmm …
The true word of God incessantly warns about these ‘demonic doctrines’. It says in 1 Timothy 4:1, “Now the Spirit expressly says that in latter times some will depart from the faith, giving heed to deceiving spirits and doctrines of demons.”
In fact, the true word of God has a lot to say about the false religion we call ‘Islam’ today, and the danger it brings. All of it circles back to the idea of men getting to heaven by doing good works, or following the law close enough.
Galatians 4:21-31
Tell me, you who desire to be under the law, do you not hear the law? [22] For it is written that Abraham had two sons: the one by a bondwoman, the other by a freewoman. [23] But he who was of the bondwoman was born according to the flesh, and he of the freewoman through promise, [24] which things are symbolic. For these are the two covenants: the one from Mount Sinai which gives birth to bondage, which is Hagar— [25] for this Hagar is Mount Sinai in Arabia, and corresponds to Jerusalem which now is, and is in bondage with her children— [26] but the Jerusalem above is free, which is the mother of us all. [27] For it is written:
“Rejoice, O barren,
You who do not bear!
Break forth and shout,
You who are not in labor!
For the desolate has many more children
Than she who has a husband.”[28] Now we, brethren, as Isaac was, are children of promise. [29] But, as he who was born according to the flesh then persecuted him who was born according to the Spirit, even so it is now. [30] Nevertheless what does the Scripture say? “Cast out the bondwoman and her son, for the son of the bondwoman shall not be heir with the son of the freewoman.” [31] So then, brethren, we are not children of the bondwoman but of the free.
The Muslims believe that Ishmael, the son of the servant woman Hagar, was the chosen one, and was the one given God’s blessing. But from the Biblical account, when Abraham’s wife Sarah was found without children (even though God promised her one), she told Abraham to sleep with Hagar, his female servant. As a result, Hagar conceived Ishmael and God’s angel told her, “Behold, you are with child, and shall bear a son; you shall call his name Ishmael; because The Lord has given heed to your affliction. He shall be a wild ass of a man, his hand against every man and every man’s hand against him; and he shall dwell over against all his kinsmen.” (Genesis 16:11-12 RSV).
Isn’t this the constant claim of the Arabs, that every hand is against them, and that they are unfairly oppressed by the nations of the earth? Never once has there been peace in the middle-east. The truth is that every hand is against them, because their hand is against every man; as the verse states.
God promised to make a nation of Ishmael as well as Isaac. But he chose to look after the people of Isaac and to bless them with prosperity. It was through them that the Messiah, Jesus Christ, came about. Even though they chose to reject him.
“But God said to Abraham, Be not displeased because of the lad and because of your slave woman; whatever Sarah says to you, do as she tells you, for through Isaac shall your descendants be named. And I will make a nation of the son of the slave woman also, because he is your offspring” Genesis 21:12-13.
The Muslims believe that the books of the Jews and Christians are corrupted versions of the truth. The Muslims believe that the Jews broke a covenant with Allah and had adopted false corrupted doctrines.
**Note that in the Qur’an, the verse numbers are placed at the end of each verse, rather than at the beginning.
O children of Israel! Remember My favors which I bestowed upon you; fulfill your covenant with Me and I will fulfill My covenant with you, that you should fear none but Me.[40] Believe in My revelations, which are confirming your scriptures; do not be the first one to deny My revelations, and do not sell them for a petty price, fear Me and Me Alone.[41] Do not mix the Truth with falsehood, or knowingly conceal the truth.[42] Establish Salah (prayers); give Zakah (charity); and bow down with those who bow down in worship.[43] Surah 2:[40-43]
Have you not considered the case of those to whom a portion of the Book was given? They purchased error for themselves and wish to see you lose the Right Way.[44] Allah knows your enemies very well. Sufficient is Allah to protect you, and Sufficient is Allah to help you.[45] Among the Jews there are some who take the words out of their context and utter them with a twist of their tongues to slander the true Deen (faith) and say: “We hear and we disobey;” and “Hear, may you (O Muhammad) hear nothing!” And “Ra’ina” (an ambiguous word meaning: “listen, may you become deaf,” or “our shepherd,” or “in judeo-Arabic language conveying the sense of “our evil one”). If only they had said: “We hear and we obey;” and “Hear us;” and “Unzurna (“look upon us,” or ” pay attention to us”): it would have been better for them and more proper. Due to all this Allah has cursed them for their unbelief. In fact with the exception of a few, they have no faith.[46] Surah 4:[44-46]
The Qur’an is explicit about labeling the Jews “apes and pigs,” and calls for their destruction if they do not repent.
O people of the Book (Jews and Christians)! Believe in what We have now revealed (The Qur’an), confirming your own scriptures, before We obliterate your faces and turn them backward, or lay Our curse on you as We laid Our curse on the Sabbath breakers: and remember that Allah’s command is always executed.[47] … See how they invent a lie against Allah, and this in itself is enough to show their manifest sin.[50] Surah 4:[47,50]
So which is correct? The Bible says one thing, and the Qur’an says another, how can we know which book tells the true story?
One way we can do this is by comparing the reliability of the two books empirically–through archeological and historical evidence. In this regard, the Bible is vastly superior to the Qur’an.
For one, the Qur’an was written in the 7th century, and there are no manuscripts dating past 730 A.D. Yet we have manuscripts of the Bible that date back to 300-350 A.D. And the Muslims claim it was corrupted? It was written before Muhammad was ever born! Picture me coming out with a book today, claiming that the United States Constitution was corrupted! Muslims talk about corruption in Judeo-Christian books, yet they have not produced one single ‘non-corrupted’ copy of those books. If Allah is so great, than why can’t he preserve his own word?
The Bible has withstood scrutiny more than any other book on the face of the earth and is inerrant in accuracy and historical backing. Many archeologists who have gone out to disprove its claims have ended up only proving its claims further. The Qur’an cannot make this same claim.
The book is full of inexplicable inaccuracies and contradictions. Even according to the Hadith, the Qur’an today is much different than the original.
Islam claims that pre-Islamic Allah was the same God of the patriarchs of the Jews and Christians. Yet we have historical evidence, uncovered by archeologists in the Middle-East, that links Allah to the pagan moon god named ‘Sin’ who the Sumerians worshiped.
Anyway, my primary reason for writing all of this is not to state all of the reasons why the Bible (as opposed to the Qur’an) is the true word of God — there is simply not enough room here to do so. But my motive is so that I can make people aware of the dangers of Islam, and the social injustices it brings about.
I mentioned earlier that I had watched the Fitna video. The Norwegian man who made it, Geert Wilders, was issued a death warrant by Muslim clerics because he was not shy about revealing the true nature of Islam. I strongly encourage you to watch it, and I have embedded the two parts of it (7.5 min each), below.
I am not sure exactly how long this video is going to stay up on youtube. They have a tendency to remove controversial content such as this. If you were to search ‘Islam’ in the searchbox at youtube, you would likely find a list of sappy Muslim sympathizer videos and poetic Qur’an baloney. At any rate, I am going to leave an alternative link to the video here, just in case the prior is removed.
I believe that our leaders affirm that Islam is a peaceful religion (Bush did it, Obama did it, the Clintons did it), only because they are afraid of disrupting mainstream Islam. Right now, the only thing we have going for us is the fact that most Muslims are backslidden and un-devout believers. Either that or they have taken an extremely liberal interpretation of their books. As sad as it sounds, the ones that are strapping suicide bombs onto young children and flying airplanes into hundred-story buildings are the truly devout followers of Islam. As David Horowitz’ Frontpagemag put it, “Osama bin Laden is a very good Muslim – a model one, in fact, and one of the most devout in the 1400 years of Islam.”
To put it all in perspective — Islam appears to be just another religion, but at its heart it has a sublime, destructive nature that poses a severe threat to the modern free world. We can see that not only in the Qur’an and the Hadith, but explicitly in the conduct of its followers. The Muslims, especially in western culture, are finding it increasingly more difficult to hide Islam’s true nature.
The following is a quote from former Muslim, Abdallah al-Araby.
For fourteen centuries, Muslims were able to conceal some of their most outrageous teachings from the rest of the world. Their deceptions were hidden behind language, cultural and geographic barriers. Modern technology and new communication methods have made it difficult for Muslims to hide the dark side of Islam any longer. Muslim advocates, especially in the West, are now faced with the tough task of explaining the discrepancies between how they want Islam perceived as a tolerant, civil and peaceful religion ; and the realities of some of its basic tenets, which are quite the opposite. They’re finding it hard to maintain the facades and to simultaneously remain faithful to the harsh doctrines that are essential to the practices of authentic Islam.
God warned us against false prophets, whom are wolves that disguise themselves in sheeps’ clothing.
Matthew 7:15-16 “Beware of false prophets, who come to you in sheep’s clothing, but inwardly they are ravenous wolves. [16] You will know them by their fruits. Do men gather grapes from thorn bushes or figs from thistles?”
What are Muhammad’s fruits? He is certainly not a man of good virtue. Even by the secular world’s standards.
Matthew 24:23-25 “Then if anyone says to you, ‘Look, here is the Christ!’ or ‘There!’ do not believe it. [24] For false christs and false prophets will rise and show great signs and wonders to deceive, if possible, even the elect. [25] See, I have told you beforehand.”
2 Corinthians 11:13-15 “For such are false apostles, deceitful workers, transforming themselves into apostles of Christ. [14] And no wonder! For Satan himself transforms himself into an angel of light. [15] Therefore it is no great thing if his ministers also transform themselves into ministers of righteousness, whose end will be according to their works.”
1 John 4:1-3 “Beloved, do not believe every spirit, but test the spirits, whether they are of God; because many false prophets have gone out into the world. [2] By this you know the Spirit of God: Every spirit that confesses that Jesus Christ has come in the flesh is of God, [3] and every spirit that does not confess that Jesus Christ has come in the flesh is not of God. And this is the spirit of the Antichrist, which you have heard was coming, and is now already in the world.”
Jude 1:4 “For certain men have crept in unnoticed, who long ago were marked out for this condemnation, ungodly men, who turn the grace of our God into lewdness and deny the only Lord God and our Lord Jesus Christ.”
Was Muhammad not a lewd, sexually immoral man?
There is so much to be said here, I cannot even begin to scrape the surface of it all. I have spent hours on end unearthing these things, and the things that I have talked about here are only a portion of what I have discovered and come to know. And what I have discovered and come to know is only a portion of what exists to know.
The Bible constantly warns about false prophets and has made it clear that the world will be full of them — especially in the end of times.
As I touched on earlier, I am convinced that the Qur’an is, without doubt, a carefully and well crafted, direct attack on all of humanity. The enemy is not the people who follow Islam (whom are blind and lost), but Islam itself. Satan and his followers (and I am not speaking of human followers) are very crafty beings, they have knowledge far greater than what we possess and are fully capable of producing doctrines that lead us astray. Satan tends to mix lies with pieces of the truth, he has done this effectively in the past and he has done this with Islam; a false religion that warps the image of the living God into this fictional character named ‘Allah’. He constantly tries to draw out our primal instinct that tells us we can somehow make it to heaven by being good and doing good works. This is a lie! God tells us that our righteousness are as dirty rags.
The Christian message is directly opposed to the spirit of Islam. Christ was God’s vessel of grace for all who are willing to receive, and gives us what we do not deserve – and what we do deserve is a grave punishment (Romans 6:23).
“For by grace you have been saved, through faith and that not of yourselves; it is the gift of God, not of works lest anyone should boast.” Ephesians 2:8-9
Surely, all people must see the destitution of mankind which was brought about by our own sin.
The threat is very serious; 16% of the Muslim world believe that the bombing of the world trade centers was morally justifiable. That is 100 million people who practice radical Islam. This idea of radical supremacism is very much a part of Islam. If left unchallenged–Islam will thrive and stamp out our freedoms. Can we even be tolerant of the intolerant? I guess we will soon find out.
Newt Gingrich predicts that we will be … until we lose a city.

that’s a mouthful of a post.
I don’t think that Islam is in any position to ‘dominate’ the world though.
a bunch of jihadists running around in turbans with AK-47s are no match for the trained, well equipped and proffesional soldiers of U.S and the U.K.
they can be as religoulously fanatic as they want…
Bullets arn’t going to bounce off them no matter how hard they flail around for allah.
whether or not the islamic religion is to blame for middle east conflict is a question not so easily answered i think. After all…how many people want to go out and blow themselves up because a 1400 year old book tell them to?
